Hibiscus Habanero Jam

Below you will find our recipe:

Ingredients Qty
Hibiscus 2 cups
Habanero Pepper 1-2 pcs
Garlic clove 1 piece
Onion 1/4 piece
Honey 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Add water in a large saucepan and bring to boil; then add the hibiscus pods. Simmer for 10 minutes. 
  2. Heat oil in a skillet. Add the onions, garlic cloves and habanero peppers and cook until browned.
  3. Blend the hibiscus pods with the habanero peppers, onions and garlic cloves; add a little bit of the boiling water.
  4. Pour the mixture into a saucepan with a little bit of honey
  5. Cook for 10 minutes or until desired consistency
  6. Recomendation: Serve this jam with cheese, bread or anything you prefer!
