Hibiscus | 2 cups |
Habanero Pepper | 1-2 pcs |
Garlic clove | 1 piece |
Onion | 1/4 piece |
Honey | 1 tbsp |
Instructions
- Add water in a large saucepan and bring to boil; then add the hibiscus pods. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Heat oil in a skillet. Add the onions, garlic cloves and habanero peppers and cook until browned.
- Blend the hibiscus pods with the habanero peppers, onions and garlic cloves; add a little bit of the boiling water.
- Pour the mixture into a saucepan with a little bit of honey
- Cook for 10 minutes or until desired consistency
- Recomendation: Serve this jam with cheese, bread or anything you prefer!
