Fresh shrimp | 500 grams |
Cucumber | 1 piece |

Seedless habanero peppers | 3 or 4 pcs. |
Olive Oil | 30 ml |
Lime juice | 1 cup |
Avocado | ½ piece |
Salt | c/s |

Instructions
- Begin by peeling and deveining the shrimp, then rinse and drain them before transferring to a bowl.
- Squeeze lime juice over the shrimp, covering them completely. Let them marinate for 15 to 20 minutes.
- After marinating, drain the shrimp and season with salt to taste.
- Cut the cucumber and onion into very thin slices, using only half of each.
- Next, in a blender, combine the lime juice used for marinating the shrimp with a seedless habanero pepper, two tablespoons of cucumber, one tablespoon of onion, and one of cilantro. Blend until smooth.
- Place the shrimp at the bottom of a plate and pour the sauce over them until they are almost fully covered.
- To accompany, add red onion, cucumber, avocado, and habanero pepper cut into half-moons and seedless.
- Serve the aguachile with tostadas and a drizzle of olive oil.
- Finally, garnish the dish with fresh cilantro leaves.
