How are vegetables nourished in hydroponics?

The supply of nutrients is from the universal vehicle in hydroponic production, water, by means of which, after generating the design of the amount of salts necessary for the development of the plant, are added to the water that reaches the vascular system of the plants, and provides the elements necessary for their optimal development. 

Does the substrate provide nutrients to the plants?

The main characteristic of the substrate is that it is inert and does not contain any useful nutritional element for the plant, hence the importance of supplying each and every one of the nutrients necessary for the plant, the great capacity of moisture retention makes the substrate retain fractions of salts, so that the plant can use it according to its demand.

Is a hydroponic system a natural system?

This system is a natural system, the plants feed on the minerals that are available in it, not specifically from the soil.

The recommendation is only to wash them the day they are going to be consumed, because if you wet them you lose their shelf life.

Can I freeze my habaneros?

Preferably not, because they become viscous and lose their hardness and will not be useful for raw habanero recipes, but you will always have habaneros on hand for your sauces and stews.
