Instructions
- Begin by making a mashed potato base and cutting the shrimp into small pieces.
- Next, in a large bowl, combine the mashed potatoes and shrimp, seasoning them with salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder.
- Once you have thoroughly mixed the ingredients, incorporate a beaten egg into the mixture. Stir carefully to ensure that all the ingredients integrate evenly, resulting in a smooth and homogeneous dough.
- Now, shape small balls with the mixture and coat them in breadcrumbs, making sure they are fully covered.
- Place the balls in the preheated air fryer at 200°C and cook for 20 minutes, allowing the croquettes to achieve a golden brown exterior and a crispy texture.
- While the croquettes are cooking, you can prepare the accompanying sauce. In a pan, sauté the onion, garlic, and habanero until golden brown, then transfer them to a blender. Add the milk and yogurt, and blend until you achieve a smooth and creamy sauce.
- Heat the sauce in a pan and serve it alongside the freshly baked croquettes. Enjoy your meal!
