Salsa Macha

Below you will find our recipe:

Ingredients Qty
Habanero pepper 3 pcs
Chile de arbol peppers 15 gr
Garlic clove 2 pcs
Olive Oil 2/3 cup
Peanuts 1/3 cup
Sesame seeds 1/4 cup
Salt 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. In a pot add olive oil and heat over medium heat. Then add the garlic cloves and cook until it turns golden brown. Remove and reserve 
  2. In the same pot, add the Chile de arbol and the habanero pepper. Cook until the peppers starts to crisp up. Remove and reserve
  3. In a blender, add the peppers, the garlic cloves, salt and olive oil (the oil we used for cooking the peppers and garlic cloves). Once everything is blended, reserve
  4. In a skillet over medium heat, cook for 5 minutes or until the seeds turn golden brown
  5. In a bowl add the peanuts and sesame seeds. Then pour the sauce and mix everything together
  6. Serve with your favorite dishes!
