Shrimp cocktail is a classic Mexican dish that combines the freshness of seafood with a spicy and flavorful sauce. This easy-to-follow recipe will allow you to prepare a delicious shrimp cocktail in a matter of minutes, ideal for sharing with friends or enjoying as an appetizer at a special meal.

Witch sauce90 ml
Olive Oil30 ml

Salt½ teaspoon
Freshly ground black pepper¼ teaspoon
Cooked shrimp600 grams
Chopped onion¼ piece
Chopped Habanero pepper3 to 4 pieces
Chopped cilantro2 tbsp.
Avocado1 piece
Crackersc/s to serve.
Instructions
  1. In a pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the shrimp and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until they are pink and cooked through. Then, drain them and set aside.
  2. While the shrimp cool down a bit, prepare the cocktail sauce. In a bowl, mix finely chopped habanero with chopped onion. Add the "bruja" sauce and lemon juice, and mix well.
  3. Incorporate the ketchup into the previous mixture and season to taste with salt and pepper.
  4. Cut the avocado into cubes and reserve a few slices for garnish.
  5. In another bowl, combine the cooked shrimp with the prepared sauce and avocado.
  6. Serve the shrimp cocktail in individual glasses, adding the remaining avocado to each portion and a small drizzle of olive oil on top.
  7. For a final touch, garnish with fresh cilantro leaves and a few slices of habanero, if you desire some extra heat.
