Habanero pepper 2 pcs
Orange zest 1 tsp
Grapefruit zest 1 tsp
Lime zest 1 tsp
Lime 1 piece
Olive oil 2 tbsp
Lettuce 350 g
Instructions
  1. To begin making the vibrant salad, start by cooking the beetroot in a pot of boiling water. Allow it to cook for around 30 minutes or until you can easily insert a fork into it. Once the beetroot is cooked, remove it from the pot and set it aside. You can then proceed with the preparation of the salad.
  2. Grate the beetroot and chop the habanero peppers. Add to bowl.
  3. In the same bowl, introduce the citrusy freshness of orange, grapefruit, and lemon zest. Squeeze the juice of a lemon and add it to the mixture to further enhance the flavors. The fusion of these ingredients will create a vibrant and balanced base for your salad.
  4. To assemble the salad, arrange lettuce leaves on a plate and pour the beetroot mixture over them. Finish this dish with a drizzle of olive oil, which will enhance the smoothness of the beetroot and balance the spiciness of the habaneros.
