Fried Fish with Mango Habanero Sauce

Ingredients Qty
Fish fillet 2 pcs
Habanero pepper 2 pcs
Cornstarch 1 tsp
Rolled oats 2 tbsp
Shredded coconut w/o sugar 1/2 cup
Bell pepper 1-2 pcs
Honey 1 tbsp
Mango 1 piece
Egg 1 huevo

Instructions

  1. In a pan place the bell peppers and roast both sides.
  2. Place the roasted peppers in a food plastic bag while still hot for about 20 minutes, remove the peppers and slip off the skin
  3. Add the roasted bell peppers, the habanero peppers, honey, mango and a little bit of water to a blender
  4. Set the sauce aside
  5. Blend the rolled oats and the shredded coconut until the mixture becomes pulverized
  6. Dip each piece of fish into cornstarch. Then into a mixture of egg season with salt and pepper. Lastly dip the fish into the oats and coconut mixture.
  7. Cook at 200°C for 12 minutes in your air fryer
  8. Once cooked, pour the sauce on top of the fish and enjoy!
